Great for the money
Ok so the one thing I did off the bat was to drill and tap the original pad attachment threads to 5/16-24 now I can attach any size pad I want .. Have had zero issues with this since!! BTW the original thread is M8 just in case anyone was wondering !!

Poor quality at its finest
I received this gift in January 24 just now got around to using it the first time 2-25-24 about 15 mins in to using it, it stopped working. Will not operate at this time.

Replacement parts not available
Don’t buy this item. It is basically a single use item as the backing plate is not universal and once the foam deteriorates, you’re out of luck. They do not sell any replacement parts. No other “universal” parts fit. It’s proprietary. This is not the item you want to buy. Even the company doesn’t sell replacement backing plates and bonnets.

This is plastic junk
I bought two of them and they both broke at the plastic bonnet holder where the pad holder slides on to polisher. And to beat all can’t find that part… don’t but this junk!!! 😤😤😤

Doesn’t work with hook and loop pads.
I bought this some time ago. I’ve used it many time to polished my 53 Ford F-250. It was inexpensive but works well. When I bought pads to use with rubbing compound, I didn’t remember the buffer wasn’t hook and loop! I solved the problem by ripping the pad off the sander. Underneath there is a plastic disc. I attached 2” wide Velcro to the bottom with spray adhesive. Holds great. The truck is done and looks great.

Too Weak
Ok for applying wax . It doesn’t have enough power for any type of correction work. The build quality is good and it’s quiet and easy to handle,but for the same money go to harbor freight and get a Chicago Electric DA,then you’ll have a polisher you can do something with.
