The descriptions says each bottle is 96 oz but in the picture it says on the bottles that they are 48 oz. Which one is correct?

BOTH ARE CORRECT......BOTH PLASTIC CONTAINERS ARE 48 OUNCES EACH WHICH TOTAL 96 OUNCES TOTAL. ALSO, IT SAYS 6 POUNDS OF MIX, THAT MEANS 3 POUNDS OF EACH. THESE LAST A VERY LONG TIME, SO IT IS WELL WORTH THE MONEY.

It says "you will have enough floss to produce between 240 and 280" but is that per 6lbs bottle, or for the two combined?

It's the two bottles combined. Each bottle says it makes approximately 120 -140 cones each. I hope this helps.
