Best product ever!! Where were you 20 years ago when I needed you? I have had thick long curly hair ever since I was little. At the age of 16 I started going to my local hair salon for regular blowouts. What that just means is that they would just wash and dry your hair and blow dry it straight with the round brush and a professional hair dryer. It was worth every penny. Ever since hair straighteners have come into my life I have tried and failed on random products and hair appliances. From the $200 hair straightener to the $200 blow dryer to the $50 curling iron's and the hot rollers I've had some successes with some items but ultimately I have never been able to get my hair blown out like how it would be professionally until this morning. I've watched a couple YouTube videos and read the directions on how I needed to use this. I'm not someone who can wash her hair 30 minutes prior to work. I need a good couple hours and usually do it the night before. I wash and conditioned my hair. When I get out of the shower I apply my Argan oil heat protectant/ leave in conditioner and a couple drops of oil to the ends. I air dry my hair till it's about 80% dry. With this specific item I was actually going to blow dry my hair so the roots could get nice and dry and then use the product. But my hair was pretty much dry when I started. So I decided to try it without actually using my blow dryer. I sectioned my hair. This item worked beautifully. After navigating the controls I was able to do it perfectly. My hair is smooth and perfect. I was actually nervous about getting it tangled in my hair. Because when I was little I've had things get stuck in my hair and I've had to cut out a hot curling iron with spikes before. I think I'm still tramaurized by it. Anyways I did not receive this product free. I bought it with my money. I thought the item itself was a little pricey for what I was getting. But now I actually think the price is spot on because if I calculate how much I would pay trying to blow dry my hair professionally I do end up saving money. You need this item. You will have no regrets.

You know how you go and get your hair done and watch the stylist do that thing with the round brush and blow dryer and thinks "that looks so easy, I can do that at home" then you go home and find out you need a third arm? Well, this brush solves that. It's little pricier than others, but the quality is very good - I have owned this for 2 years and it is still working very well. It's a rotating brush with the blow dryer built it. It's not foolproof, but does a good job and when I use it, people definitely notice my hair looks nicer. My hair becomes very smooth in texture; I can make flips or loose curls, or keep it very straight. There is a learning curve, so the first few times you use it, it might not seem simple. The brush rotates in 2 directions (which is a great thing!) but you have to get used to it. The barrel is very large, so like others say, I don't know if it would be good for very short hair. The heat quality is good, but it does not "blow" very hard (I guess because it would mess up the styling), so if you're hair is soppy wet, I would recommended partially drying it with another blowdryer.

I moved to U.S. from Europe where I had a hair dryer with a rotating hair brush. I loved it - it had two exchangeable brushes of two different sizes and you could also use it without a brush to pre-dry your hair. I left it in Europe because it worked only with 220V. I thought there will be large selection of similar products on the U.S. market. But I was disappointed. First, I found Conair Infiniti Pro Spin Air Rotating Styler. It actually looks and operates in the same manner as this Babyliss Pro Rotating Hot Air Brush. However, the first time I used the Conair, it was already malfunctioning - brush rotating very slowly or not at all. Although the sedond time I used it, it worked perfectly and gave my hair beautiful shine and my hair was smooth and frizz-free. The third time, it worked only intermittently and the fourth time, it stopped rotating completely. I returned it and looked for another hair dryer with a rotating brush. Unfortunally, not many of these on this market :( To my happiness I found this Babyliss. The brush is larger which works for my shoulder-length hair. It rotates better and faster than the Conair. It produces more heat than the Conair. True, your hair dries little longer than with a regular hair dryer, but even if you take the extra minutes that you must have using Babyliss and use them while drying your hair with a regular hair dryer and classic brush you will not achieve the smoothness and shine of your hair. I guarantee it. You can always pre-dry your hair with a regular hair dryer that you probably have at home anyhow. I used to pre-dry with my European version of rotating brush. Because Babyliss does not have this option I gave it 4 stars. When using rotating brush for the first time - it takes a few times to get used to it in order not to tangle your hair. Especially, if you are left-right orientation challeneged as I am - especially when you have to coordinate with your image in a mirror. But after 2-3 times using it, you'll master the two buttons you have to push in order for the bursh to rotate in the correct direction. From what is available on this market I highly recommend Babybliss with rotating brush - it will make your hair look like from a hair salon with shine, smoothness and no frizz.

I have bought many Babyliss hair products and for the most part, the Babyliss products are more expensive. However, I have hard to manage hair and so to me, the extra dollars are necessary to ensure my hair looks and stays healthy. I have very fine, thin, hair which is highlighted. My hair tangles very easily. I could never wash my hair, without using conditioner and combing it through my hair while in the shower. Without conditioner, no matter how much detangler sprayed in, my hair becomes a matted mess. This device allows me to “style” my hair and give myself a nice looking finished product. I usually place a heat protection product in my clean wet hair and either let my hair air dry or blow dry it to 75% dried. Then I carefully separate my hair with clips, into 4 equal sections. The KEY IS PATIENCE. Take small amounts of hair and dry it using the spinner. Be careful, if you try to spin too large a section of hair in this device, it will tangle and you will have a huge mess. So again Patience! You do not want to do this when you have only 10 minutes to spare. It will take me about 30 minutes to style my hair. The smaller sections of hair used, the longer the style will endure in humid conditions. Without hot and humid conditions, the finished product last longer. The end result is my hair is smoothed, with some lift, and it has some body. Unlike a professional blow dry, it will not last me 3 days. So the next day, I have to style my hair again. I do not wash my hair everyday. I only use this device on damp hair. This device has been a game changer for me. I would recommend the device to someone who has 2 left thumbs when it comes to styling your own hair, but has patience and the time to devote to styling their hair.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this brush. I recently had surgery and purchased this so I could dry and style my hair with one hand. I read a ton of reviews and went back and forth with picking one out. I liked the idea of a spin brush and I also liked the 2" barrel. Since I own a Babyliss hair dryer already, I decided to trust this brand and I was not disappointed. It is very easy to use right out of the box and not as heavy as it looks. I was able to use it with one hand from start to finish. I have very thin and medium length hair. That was not necessarily recommended for this brush, but I feel like my hair is ideally suited for this. The heat is not powerful enough to dry thick hair that is soaking wet, but it is PERFECT for mine. I towel dry my hair, put in product, and it dries my hair in no time at all! Because my hair is medium length, I have not found the need to section my hair to prevent tangling. The only problem I've had was when I went a bit crazy and managed to spin my hair one way, then accidentally hit the button for the other direction, and managed to tangle my hair. Ouch! I also read some discussion about the firmness of the bristles in blow dryer brushes in general. With my thin hair, I can spin the brush, it grabs my hair and it works great. I am very happy with the flexibility/firmess of this brush. Even though the cost was a bit more, I'm very happy that I chose this product.

I have curly wavy & very frizzy hair. Its a lot easier to straighten if I use a round brush when I am drying my hair. Unfortunately it takes forever for me to do this. I have to set my dryer down grab a small section then dry & repeat this until dry. Its exhausting & very time consuming. I had tried the "Conair Infiniti Pro & was very disappointed so I wasn't sure about this but thought why not give it a try? This is now my fav. tool. Unlike the Infiniti Pro the dryer on the Babyliss is great it blows a lot harder. My hair is long & it brushes through my hair easily. Its great to use your regular hair dryer for a couple of min. first just so your hair isn't soaking wet then comb through your hair with this just like you would with a round brush, but now you don't have to hold your hair dryer & brush. Makes it easier to style. I use this & it adds volume & I have 80% less frizz & with the rotating options the barrel can spin both directions I can flip my ends out or in. It has multiple levels (high/low/cool) which is great. I can also add a little curl/wave. The price is very reasonable. I'm not sure if I would recommend this for people with short hair due to the size of the barrel. It may work great with short hair I don't know??? but just something to think about before you buy. I say its worth giving it a try!

This product isn't bad, but I wouldn't call it great either. It might have to do with the fact that it really doesn't heat up that much, so the inner metal tube isn't able to truly get a good curl. I was also expecting a little better in the way of smoothing my hair (my hair frizzes quite a bit), and I was disappointed there as well. Again, might have to do with the heat settings. The directional buttons are interesting to use. I recommend as soon as you get the device with your hair to your scalp (or wherever you stop the rotating bristles at), to remove your finger entirely off the button while you let the heat blow on it. If you're like me you may accidently hit it again, it will cause it to tighten against your head too much and then you have to reverse directions to loosen it and hope you don't get your hair all tangled. This is probably due more to my lack of coordination, but I'm sure there are others out there like me. :) This would be nice if you're mainly looking for a little bit of casual wave and drying mechanism in one device. I have to admit I still tend to grab my real dryer and curling iron if I'm going somewhere special. I would classify this as providing more of an everyday look as it just doesn't have the wow factor results I was expecting. Would be good to take on vacations and what not as it could do both in a pinch.

Give this rotating dryer a chance before you send it back. At first it felt awkward, and it was hard to control. But then after a few uses, it has become a must-have tool for my unruly hair. It makes a lot of sense for the air to blow out from your hair, rather than inward, especially if you are trying to get volume. And no more acrobatics, standing on your head while you dry your hair. My hair also feels pretty silky, and there seems to be less frizz. The rotating barrel ensures that your hair is drying in the direction that you want it to dry. This is how I would improve it though: 1. The bristles are too soft. I have coarse Asian aging hair and just a few more levels of hardness would be great. Using boar bristles would be perfect. But this level of softness is ideal for fine hair, if that is what you have. 2. I was hoping that this dryer would also have the rubberized surface, like their other blow dryers. It keeps me from dropping it. 3. It would be even more useful if the barrel could rotate while in cool mode, this will allow the curl to stay put while you rotate in the opposite direction to disengage from your hair. 4. It would also be nice if you could operate the rotating barrel without the blowing, so you can set the curl around the barrel, then turn the heat on. Would give you more control for cleaner curls. Otherwise, an innovative and thoughtful new way of drying and styling hair.

I recently cut my hair mid length with lots of layers so I have the option to style and curl if I was going out. Usually during the week my hair is in a bun and running around with kids at home. #momof2 I was watching a youtube video of this girl that was styling her hair with this product and her hair came out beautifully styled and lots of volume. I will definitely recommend this to those of you that have fine hair like mine (asian fine hair) and cant style very well. I call this the blow out at home. You get the blow out look that you will get when you go to a salon and pay $30+ just for a blow out. I recommend that you don't use this right out of the shower but to wait a little bit till your hair is about 70% dry, but you hair should be somewhat damp-wet to get the volume when you use this product. I love this item. The only thing is, if your hair sheds a bit it will get whined up in the bristles but I guess you can snip it off.

I am an older woman, and have very fine hair, shoulders length. I also have hot flash galore when I dry my hair. I tried this yesterday for the first time and have to say that this will be my next favorite tool. I think I put too much products in my hair and not dried it enough before using the hot air brush. However, I had tried it on dry hair and it worked great. Make sure you dry your roots with your regular hair dryer so the brush will be more effective. As I said before, I have raging hot flashes when I dry my hair (why???) and so i'm having problems with drying the roots. Next time, I will completely let my hair air dry and then apply a light spritz and use the brush. You also have to get accustomed to the button that makes the brush roll. But it should not be difficult. It will not thight your hair so hard that it is uncomfortable. This tool, I think, cannot be used alone as you need to almost completely dry your hair before your brush can get you volume. And it will not give you curls.
