GliadinX contains components registered with the FDA as New Dietary Ingredients (NDI Docket Number FDA-19959s90039) and generally recognized as safe by the FDA (GRAS).
The FDA does not approve enzyme formulations unless they have an indication to treat, cure or prevent a disease. GliadinX does not treat, cure or prevent a disease. It does efficiently break down the gliadin molecule in the stomach in support of a gluten-free diet by addressing cross-contamination or accidental gluten ingestion.

The citric acid in GliadinX is derived from a micro-organism. The increased acidity has been shown to greatly speed up and enhance the activity of the endoprotease. This is important to maximize the gluten digestion in the stomach and eliminating or greatly reducing the amount of gluten that can cause damage to the small intestine.

Yes, you can take GliadinX after you ate gluten. Take it is as early as possible after you became aware that you ate gluten and preferably within 30 minutes while the gluten is still being digested in the stomach. After 60 minutes, the gluten enters the small intestine and the efficacy is greatly diminished.
