I looked forever for something minimalistic but elegant to match my gray driftwood floors in my house. And the TURN-N-TUBE concept and design is an engineering marvel. My husband and I are big gamers and we wanted to set up our den with as much symmetry as possible when selecting tv stands as we have two 50 inch 4k tvs that we play on. We also wanted to do this on a budget. We loved the price on these tv stands especially considering we could get them in black and gray and not just the typical brown color. We spent less on 2 of these than we normally would have on a single stand. Besides the price, I can honestly say that we had none of the assembly issues or "flimsy" feel that some users have described in other reviews. Let's be clear though, the materials are not solid wood and metal, but particle board and plastic tubing. Don't let that scare you though! We found that all of the pieces were well packaged and without damage. No tools at all are required to assemble the stands as the tubing is made to screw into predrilled holes in the boards. Set up was quick and easy and the instructions even clearly label the weight each shelf holds which is awesome because we have a ton of collectibles we have to unpack and these stands give us a great amount of room to showcase our stuff! The only reason I gave this 4 stars overall is because we were a little sad at how low the tvs sit which is completely a personal preference. We like our tvs to sit a few inches higher but I would recommend these stands to anyone looking for a great price, a nice look, and ease of assembly!

perfect! took 15 minutes to put together & no tools are needed. It’s all twist on. It’s exactly what I was looking for & the flash deal was a steal. Note: If you’re actually putting your tv on there it’s pretty low so be cautious of that.

I wish I had gotten photos but I was blinded by my rage. This entire unit is made of the cheapest, thinnest, and softest particle board I’ve ever seen, and the “dark wood finish” is quite literally tape. Not only was it a bitch to put together, with none of the pieces really fitting all too well — mostly just hammering in those cheap plastic nodes as opposed to actually screwing things together — but when I actually did have to screw something in, it split the wood clean in half! I tried to prevent this from happening, causing it to fall on itself, and then it snapped the little node keeping it up perfectly in half, getting it stuck permanently in the hole! It was here that we realized the finish was just taped on. I couldn’t even get halfway done constructing this piece before it completely broke on me, and I’m glad it happened while I was building it as opposed to finishing it and actually setting my tv on it. Had that happened, I have no doubt in my mind that it would have crushed under the weight and possibly hurt my tv in the process. Please so not waste your money on this product, especially if you are like me and need a cheaper alternative because you’re poor. You’re just going to be doing yourself a disservice and you’ll have to request a refund anyways — thankfully for me, amazon did so without question (probably saw the mess I had to put back in the box). If you really need an item at this price, find a more reliable vendor.

Product looks amazing, arrived in good condition and was undamaged. The assembly was very easy. No tools are required. The instructions recommend a second person but it is not necessary AT ALL, unless you just want to get it done faster. Make sure that you assemble this in the room that you want it to be in, because the length and shape of the product make it difficult to carry around once it's built. It is sturdy enough to hold my items and TV no problem, but trying to lift it off the ground would put a lot of pressure on it due to gravity and you might accidentally damage it that way. But that is 100% avoidable if you just build it in the room you want it. Very affordable, and yes the wood is "cheap" wood and the supports are plastic, but it does not "look" cheap at all, nor is it poorly designed or made. Fulfills its purpose perfectly! Also, make sure you check the product dimensions to ensure it will fit! It is long, and close to the ground. Great for my bedroom! But don't expect it to be tall. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good place to display knick-knacks or set up a video gaming area, which is what I am using it for. :)

My husband and I bought this TV stand as we moved into our first apartment together. The main reason we bought it was because of the price. It was cheap and it gets the job done. We have had this TV stand for 6 months now and don't have any major complaints about it. APPEREANCE As with most cheap products, you do sacrifice quality for savings. It looks nice as long you don't look on the underside of the panels where the compressed wood is very visible. It is SMALLER than it appears in the picture. Our 40" Flatscree's base barely fits on top. There is about an inch of space left in the front and on the back of the base. it is also shorter than it looks. If you have a couch in front of your TV, you will not have it at eye level, it is more like at knee level. I would have really liked if it was at least 6 inches taller. ASSEMBLY It was very easy to put together. It can be done alone but thankfully my husband was around to give me a hand. The only tools we needed were a Phillip's screwdriver and a hammer. USABILITY It feels somewhat wobbly and I wish it felt a little more sturdy. The compartments are short. They are not tall enough to stack video games cases or DVD/Blu-Rays in a vertical position. We have to stack them horizontally. The bottom compartments are tall enough to fit our vinyl player, PS3, and Wii U. Overall, it's a "good for now" TV stand. It does what it is suppose to do but we definitely plan to upgrade once we stabilize ourselves financially.
