The perfect slingshot.
Knowing how to shoot a slingshot is most of the battle. I have had several slingshots over the years and even bought another one on Amazon thinking it would make me better, it didn't. I was not until I did an internet search and watched a video on how to shoot a slingshot I realized the error of my ways. I highly suggest you do the same before you buy another slingshot. You will save yourself time and money. There are tons of different slingshots out there. Ones with round rubber tubes and ones with flat bands. I find flat rubber bands tend to be more accurate by the way. Some sligshots even have springs added to them that look cool but do they really add more power? Not really sure. Anyway, after researching many different slingshots I settled on the one I thought was best. Don't take my word for it, do your own research. I even bought those darts for another slingshot I have to go fhishing with but thank God it looked a little sketchy to me. The part of the dart that comes in contact with the rubber bands or leather pouch had sharp edges so I never used them. I have since seen those same darts stuck in people's hands. Fyi...Never use them in your slingshot!!! Arrows are better, safer and, much more accurate then the darts. After much research I settled on this particular slingshot for many reasons. For one reason was the way the bands attached to the slingshot. They were easy to change out and they could be mounted over the top or around the sides. I find around the sides better to aid in aiming. The second reason was the body allowed the user to use multiple hand positions to find the one that best suits them. Third was the company themselves. They have many different products relating to slingshots and they are not from some other country. They are a US company. Anyway, after learning how to shoot I had no problem hitting a one inch target at 25 feet in no time with over 90% accuracy. I am now shooting at 50 feet and would say I am 60 to 70% accurate on the one inch target. Practice makes perfect folks. If you do not get out there and push yourself to get better you never will. I was in the military and shot a lot and I do mean a lot. Thousands of rounds I shot through my rifle and my pistol. The part that I am most proud of is my marksmanship with the 9mm Beretta. At 100 yards and with 90 to 95% accuracy, I could hit a 12" target. Believe me or not, I don't care. My point is this. I fyour not going to put in the time to make yourself better at something then you will never get better. You see, after a while you develope what is called a natural line of sight. It is like muscle memory. After a while I could just raise I rifle not even using the sights and could hit a man sized target under 100 yards. Believe me, comes in really handy when doing CQB. Learning to shoot a slingshot is no different and trust me when I say this. If you put in the time you too will develope that muscle memory and know exactly what I am talking about. I originally bought the clay ammo but they only last so long. I now use a white sheet as a back drop to catch the steel shot I am using so I can reuse the ammo over and over again. I have really enjoy shooting my slingshot. So much so I prefer it over going to the range and spending $100 or more on ammo. So folks, that is my honest review and I hope it helps.

Lil devious "tool/toy"
Initally bought this with the intent to piss of them squirrels that yappin' surrounding my tree stand during deer season. Since then i've had just been messing around with clay pellets and just seeing to what extent my aim can get to. This thing is a lil fun doohickey to mess around with if you got dead time or something. The quality is very good and I have little to no compaints at all, the only complaint being I wish it came with more bands (only 2 pairs) at its price point but to be fair I ain't worth crying over. The reference points are easily distinguishable and shooting it; wether it be standing/tilted/sideways, is pretty easy and comfortable and allows for an easier/faster time for progressing the learning curve. I was about to cheap out but am glad I didn't, would buy again if I ever needed to. "Good 'ole blunt force trama" Pros - Superb quality and build with hardware and accessories - Egronomics and handling is quite comfortable and is carved out well for different postitions/rest points - handslap rarely ever occurrs and can shoot for hours - Reference points are very defined and can assist in the learning curve Cons - Price per accessories - The price is decently valid for the overall build, just wish it came with a lil more more accessories (mainly more pair of bands or something, ya only get 1 clay band and 1 multi-purpose band)

Great slingshot! Excellent guidance and materials that come with it, too!
This is a quality slingshot, super fun to learn and shoot. The ammo samples are great for beginners, too. Definitely worth the buy whether you're a novice or a pro, this is a great slingshot to get into the hobby - it will last well into "pro" level use (IMHO). With the guidance SimpleShot offers in their YT videos and the instructional videos linked in the paperwork that comes with this, you can be off the races in short order. Also really like that you can adjust the band with a coin in your pocket, and you can easily swap bands out for different ammos (thicker/stronger band for heavier/bigger ammo). Great buy!

A good slingshot makes a big difference.
I'm a gun guy but since retiring and moving a couple years ago I don't have the access to ranges as I once did. So, while in a local sporting goods store I picked up a cheap slingshot to plink in my back yard. I have a very OCD personality so once I find something I like I go a little nuts with it. Anyway, while watching some videos on how to shoot I came across a recommendation to buy a Scout XT, so I did. Let me tell you, what a difference! After watching the recommended video on tuning the bands, my first shot at 15 yards was a strike on a paint can I'd placed out there. I was shocked becauae with the cheap one I had I was good for maybe 50% hits. This frame and grip and bands tuned to my draw made all the difference. I have pretty small hands so doing a "pinch grip" is kinda difficult but the "thumb brace" grip feels very natural. I'm thinking about grabbing a Scout Lt as it is said to be smaller so might help my grip. Anyway, only gripe I have about this slingshot are the band pouches. Using 1/2" is kinda difficult and even 3/8 can be a little tough. They work but I think they could definitely be better. The little target that comes with the set is next to useless and plan to buy more ammo as what is provided will last about 10 minutes. Overall the slingshot is awesome, the rest of the stuff in the pack is worthless.

Great product. Only thing is I'd like a stronger band out the gate. Can always shorten it I suppose. The science behind their product is so obvious it make me wonder why my catapults as a kid were tubes and hard to change. Good company. Check out their site for other products too.
