It took 5 minutes to program the fobs on an Expedition. I've purchased remotes for other cars from USA Remote. They all still work and were easy to program.

KIND OF HARDTO PROGRM MORE THAN ONCE IF NECESSARY

Bought in July, stopped working today.
I wrote a very nice review because it worked well. However, just 6 months after purchasing it, it died. I purchased a 2006 Explorer that came without the remotes. I bought this remote because without remote, the only entry point was the driver's door. There is no key on the passenger side. This was a sheriff's car. Maybe that is the reason to have only one key door. The installation was not as easy as claimed by the instructions or other people. I inserted the key with the driver's door opened, but the lock down. I turned from off to electric on 8 times within 10 seconds and pressed the unlock button on the remote. Nothing happened. I was very fast and am sure I did in less than 10 seconds. Still, nothing happened. I tried and tried and failed and failed. Then, after many times, I did the 8 switches off and on, and it happened. The car locks went up and down on their own, and the remote worked from then on. I have no idea what I was doing wrong and what I did right in the end. All I know is that after I got it to work, it works from my front porch to the street. The range is moderate, perhaps around 30 to 40 feet or so.
