Depending on the species or cultivar Anemone can flower in different colours at different times of the year. Tuberous Anemone species generally flower in spring (eg: Anemone nemorosa), Mediterranean Anemone species flower in summer (eg: Anemone coronaria) and the larger, fibrous rooted Anemone species flower in autumn(eg: Anemone hupehensis). Some Anemone species have their preferences regarding soil and location. However in our garden trials we have found cultivars that are not fussy and should happily grow in most garden locations; these are the ones we are selling here..

• s are sold in half litre sized pots (9cm pots that are nearly pint sized, about 520ml in capacity). • All the cultivars we sell have been grown and tested in our own garden (which is an RHS partner garden open to the public). • When your s arrive they can usually be ed straight out after soaking in water for 3 or 4 minutes. A good rule of thumb; make the soil level of the pot level with the rest of your border when ing out.
