Basically take the cover off the wheel head, plug it in, and turn it on. It’s a bit short and you may want to use bricks to raise it but it works well.

This product is awesome!! I received it as a gift for Christmas and I love it.. super easy to use, clean and move from one location to thw other as it is smaller in size and not too too heavy! The speed settings adjust super easily and are very easy to maintain the current speed. Great for the price!! Including all of the tools!! Couldn't be more pleased!!

Overall, it looks good and works well for small projects. One minor drawback is that users may need to work outdoors, as wheel throwing can cause muddy splashes. This seems to be due to the drainage trough around the wheel, which doesn’t fully contain the splashes for collection. I understand the manufacturer may have reduced the trough radius for packaging efficiency. That said, a slightly larger, more practical size could likely have been designed and packaged alongside the unit rather than pre-fitted. In terms of price, it is comparable to other products of similar size and capacity.

My daughter love this machine and she spend lots of hours making pots in here.

Great, good size and stability

I bought this to use until I can get my 30-year old Clay Boss wheel repaired. Too small and underpowered. Trying to center even one pound of soft clay, the wheel motor struggles and slows down. The wheel head is far too low for an adult to throw correctly and comfortably. And the wheel head with three holes for some kind of weird screw system to replace bat pins does not fit any other bats, the one that comes with the wheel is such low quality as to be laughable. Waste of money, even as a stop gap to fill in temporarily for a REAL wheel. Sorry I wasted my money.

I got this so I can make polishing some dice easier and it works amazingly.

I am a potter and sculptor. I bought Thia little guy as a home wheel to try it out. What I first saw was that there was no pedal, the one bat was connected to the wheel Head, the wheel itself was very small. Upon trying it out, I noticed that even at top speed, its just not fast enough to properly center. I was having to use more strength then one should have to expend just to center small bits . My wrist ended up hurt. So that's not good long term. I hesitate to encourage anyone buying this for that reason alone. I can see that it would create bad throwing habits for future and possibly turn people off the art entirely. Speed up the wheel, and create additional bats for easy removal and multiple creations!!
