Tasties Biscuit Bundle with Tasties Chocolate Biscuit Bourbon Creams 300g (6 Pack)

Quality, how ever I thought they had stopped making bourbon biscuits as I couldn’t see them anywhere all I could see was tasties until I took the time to read the rest of the packaging but I have now since found them being sold in my local sainsburys!

I know there’s always going to be people out there who slate the humble Bourbon because it’s cheap but it’s always been one my favourites as far as everyday mainstream biscuits go. Of course, not all Bourbon biccies are created equal and some aren’t very good but I’m really enjoying these Tasties ones; they are light and crunchy and satisfying to munch on; they are also definitely dunkable (if you’re that way inclined) and the filling-to-biscuit ratio feels just-right to me, i.e. nicely balanced. I didn’t find them too sweet and I think they taste chocolatey... if you separate the filling from the biscuit (as I did this morning, just as an experiment), both components taste chocolatey with good flavour that’s not overpowered by sickly sweetness that makes you stop at one (I’m thinking of you, custard cream). They are tasty Bourbons; I’ll be re-ordering.
