Tienes que mirar la tapa de aceite de motor si ahí dice 0 w 16 es el indicado pero revisa antes ahí te dice que tipo de aceite lleva

How many miles before you change toyota sae ow-16

I purchased a new Corolla in 2007. I drove it for 2K miles and changed the oil myself with Valvoline full synthetic. I drove it for 8 k miles on that oil then changed it again once it hit 10k. I change the oil myself religiously every 10k miles with the same oil, Valvoline full synthetic. The car now has 255k miles and it’s running like is new. All these people who say 10k is too high are incorrect. It’s not an issue if you use a QUALITY oil and filter and always use the same brand and viscosity oil. Never mix brands or viscosity’s. And NEVER use a synthetic “blend”, only use full synthetic. I don’t even use the high mileage because my engine has so little wear on it I don’t need it.

Toyota 0W-16 Bigly Overpriced

Saw the report of dealerships using 0W-20 instead. This is in violation of their own recommended oil! Everyone, be sure to strongly request them to provide another free oil and filter change, using the recommended 0W-16. Don't accept "aww... it's OK. Don't worry". What good are their recommendations, if they themselves will not follow them?

The correct oil weight for your vehicle.

When buying motor oil for these newer vehicles stick to the manufacturers recommendations on the correct type of oil. I only buy parts for my Toyota RAV4, that are Toyota Branded, to keep my Lifetime Powertrain Warranty in effect!!
