The YOSUN lamp is the BEST aftermarket non-OEM lamp on the market hands down. It’s noticeably brighter and I have found it to be the best performing and longest lasting compared to all the others. I have purchased other lamps in the past that don’t do this at all. I even had one that didn’t even come with screws to install it the right length. These lamps are always consistent and super easy to install. You just unscrew the 2 screws of the lamp that you are changing, pull straight up on the little handle and put the new one in by inserting it gently and pressing down until you feel it click in and screw the 2 screws and you screw the lamp door back on and then you’re back in business! This one never changes color, it just gets more dim. It doesn’t make your projector louder or anything at all, either. Make sure you get the yellow lamp box and you will know to always reorder this and get this box. Put the old lamp in the new box and LABEL IT as used and the date you changed out the old lamp. Don’t make the same mistake I did and put in an old lamp!

I have an Epson Home Cinema 4010 and my original lamp was over 3x the life expectancy and I had started to notice fading and I wanted to avoid an outage. Lamps are not easy to find and less so lamps that are good quality. Of course I can't speak about the longevity of this lamp yet as I only just installed it (but I will certainly update this review if it dies before its time). I am very happy. It is not an Epson lamp (as far as I can tell) but the picture quality is crisp and clear and the colors are fresher than they were. Very happy with this lamp. It wasn't the cheapest one on here (by a long shot) but it does what it is supposed to do so far and that matters more than buying one of those cheap lamp alternatives. I will buy my next lamp from this supplier in a few years when this one goes. Very happy with my purchase.

I was so excited to finally replace my old projector lamp with this New lamp. At first, I was blown away by the brightness and clarity of the picture - it was like having a brand new projector! Movie nights were awesome, and I even started using the projector for work presentations. But then, just a few few times, things started to go downhill. The lamp began flickering intermittently, which was super annoying during movies. Then, the brightness started to fade noticeably. It wasn't long before the picture was back to being dull and lifeless, just like with my old lamp. I'm so disappointed. I really thought this lamp would last much longer, especially with the advertised lifespan of 2500-5000 hours. It feels like a waste of money to have to replace it again so soon. I wouldn't recommend this lamp to anyone who wants a reliable and long-lasting solution for their projector.

So far great product/good price. I ended up with about 4800 hrs on my original and reset the lamp timer. would recommend and buy again!

This is an off-brand component made in china. This bulb is the exact size and specification as OEM bulb and housing. OEM bulb appeared to have a slighly better build quality, including screw terminal versus crimped leads. Installation was drop-in simple with no issues of fit or function. Improved brightness over 4500 hour used OEM bulb it replaced was immediately noticable. No noticable change in picture clarity or color reproduction. So far appears worth the significantly discounted price versus OEM bulb Holding final opinion based upon bulb durability in comparison with OEM.

Too bad this did not last very long. With a bang the lamp went out. Bummer.

Finally replaced the bulb in the projector works like brand new!

Bought on June 10, 2025 and it’s already burned out and not working! The quote unquote warranty is 30 days for a $150 bulb. Less than 6 months of usage is INSANE for that price. DO NOT BUY!! Willing to change my review if you honor a replacement with a brand new bulb but normally our bulbs for this projector last OVER a year. This is nuts!
