I absolutely love this stuff! It doesn’t burn at all for me (even with nicks), but does deliver a wonderful, soothing warmth. The scent is quite nice, too.

The Platinum aftershave has an excellent scent that stands out without being overpowering. My wife immediately complimented the fragrance, and I’ve even found myself dabbing a little on my neck before work almost like a light cologne because I enjoy the scent so much. Performance-wise, it delivers exactly what I want from an aftershave. It leaves my skin feeling smooth and refreshed with that classic mild sting followed by a cooling sensation. After a clean shave, it gives a refreshing finish that lasts and leaves my face feeling soft rather than dry or irritated. Overall, this has become a regular part of my shaving routine.

After reading a few other reviews, I ordered the Italian Citrus. As soon as you open the bottle the room is flooded with the scent of citrus and romance. I really don't know how to describe the scent other than to say it is absolutely amazing and very high-class--it makes you feel like you are sailing the Mediterranean on your yacht on a beautiful sunny day. The first time I wore it, my wife stopped dead in her tracks on the way out the door, turned, and said, "Wow, you smell so good." She lingered by me a few more moments before begrudgingly leaving for work. You will be sure to turn heads if you pick this scent, especially in the summertime. Beyond the female-attracting properties, the aftershave does an awesome job at cooling and toning your skin. The menthol stays cool on your face for nearly 30-45 minutes, and the scent lasts the whole day through. If you are unsure of what fragrance to try, you can go to Mr. Fine's website and get a sampler pack. *EDIT* Having done the sampler, here is a rundown on the other scents: American Blend--This scent is awesome. It is kind of a cross between Old Spice and Gillette Foamy Shaving Cream. A little spicy but very clean smelling. Several women have complimented this one. Fresh Vetiver--Wow, this is a great scent. Smokey, clean, and refreshing. Again, this one gets the seal of approval from the ladies. Clean Vetiver--I don't like this one nearly as much as the Fresh Vetiver. There is an added soapy scent that makes this one smell a little muddled. L'Orange Noir--Smells great in the bottle, but crappy on your skin. The scent is VERY heavy. If you like really heavy-handed scents, this one is for you. My wife took one whiff of this one on my and just said, "No." Savon Lavande--A clean lavender scent, but I don't like it. This is probably the least manly smelling of the lot

After reading some of the reviews here, I thought it was worth a shot. Although, I was hesitant, because I couldn't actually smell the stuff, the price wasn't too bad. If I hated it, I would just dump it. A few years ago I started shaving with a double edge safety, mostly on a whim, I had received an Amazon gift card for Christmas and happened upon some razors, but also to avoid the cost of replacement cartridges--I was using a Mach 3. At any rate, I have been on a bit of binge for that last few years experimenting with different blades, shaving creams, brushes, and aftershaves. I think most men of a certain age remember the old time barbershop, before the arrival of the ubiquitous unisex salons, that they were taken to by their fathers. I'm not going to romanticize all barbershops. I've been to far more bad barbers than good. However, when you're 4 or 5 years old it can be an overload to the senses, particularly the sense of smell. And, I suppose I've been trying to find products that remind me of those early trips to the barber. Well, this stuff fits the bill. It immediately reminded me of those scents of my youth. It's a masculine and clean scent, without being musky, so you won't be smelling like a creepy cologne guy. And, contrary to some of the comments I found here the scent lasted all day, not one or two hours. OK, it may smell a little old man-ish to some. But, in a way, isn't that kind of the point?

This is excellent aftershave, probably the best you can find. But it really STINGS if you have even the slightest cut. More importantly: Is it twice as good as products from Cella, Prorasso and other reliable suppliers that cost HALF as much? I don't think so and you may not either.

I love Mr. Fine products, because they make the perfect aftershaves. Thr American blend is strong but subtle. It won’t overpower you with fragrance, but it’s strong enough that my wife smells it at the end of the day still. Always leaves my skin feeling fresh and toned after a good shave.

This is a great men's cologne. It's a nice clean smell. Not a heavy scent.

I was very much anticipating the arrival of this aftershave as I have been doing research on many different brands. This brand however, was a bit disappointing, with its premium price tag in the lineup of other splash on aftershaves. I feel like it fell a bit short. The scent was nice, but not impressive, and did not linger anywhere near as long as I thought it would. When you wear an aftershave, you expect to be smelling good long after you shaved but this one seemed to dissipate in almost an hour after application. If you’re looking for a classic Barbershop smell and longevity to match its namesake, I would say stick to classics like clubman aftershave for they keep you smelling Barbershop fresh long after you shave!

After shave di buona qualità, una volta applicato sul viso dopo la rasatura frizzerà sul viso per i primi secondi, e compatterà bene la pelle rendendola elastica e profumata! Ovviamente la fragranza ricorda abbastanza creed aventus!! Ottimo prodotto

Upon initial application there is a nice scent like fresh oranges. Unfortunately for me this doesn’t last long and fades to a mild, musky scent. After a few hours any scent had dissipated entirely. There is a mild kick but it is not as strong as other alcohol based lotions Nice, but I was hoping for more!

Hace lo que cualquier loción alcohólica, sin tanto glamour y más barata, es un golpe de alcohol, con un levísimo olor a cítrico, los que dicen que recuerda a Aqua di Parma, debieron de beberlo en lugar de usarlo como aftershave, el hidrolato de hamamelis, es mucho mejor, la única ventaja es que los mezclo y así el hidrolato puro no me huele a infusión de plantas, además el alcohol, aunque se note su trabajo, ya no es tan agresivo con la piel.

Habe das Rasierwasser so gegen 17 Uhr bekommen und gleich ausprobiert. Der Duft ist einfach nur toll und sehr lange präsent. Mein Kopfkissen duftet herrlich nach Fine. Habe schon viele Rasierwasser ausprobiert die auch gut riechen aber leider nur kurz. Fine ist ja relativ teuer, aber es lohnt sich. Ich vergebe 5 Sterne 👍

The AS does as described, cool off the skin after a shave, there isn’t any smell, I normally add a bit in with my daily lotion.
