In the past 3 years, I developed what appears to be a terrible sensitivity to sulfites. Before I realized that I had it, I suffered from so many symptoms, including brain fog, fatigue, ADHD like symptoms, diarrhea, and occasional joint aches. I was 30 years old feeling like I was going on 89. I bought this a couple years ago after doing research but was reluctant to try something so experimental on my body. It sat there. In the year that followed, I was able to improve my symptoms by minimizing the sulfites in my diet (e.g., eliminating most processed foods and dried fruits), but I still suffered from chronic fatigue, brain fog, sinus congestion, and bouts of diarrhea, as a way of life. After a recent underwhelming experience from my doctor for finding a solution, I came across these pills that had been stored away for months. I took them and omg! I have a relief of brain fog and finally have energy! I feel focused, I did not feel like I need 2 or 3 naps per day - pure productive energy alll day! I was suffering from diarrhea for days leading up to the day I took my first dose and it suddenly stopped. My nasal congestion (which I always experience when my gut is "off" also cleared. When I went to my allergist, she said that my nasal polyps had shrunk!! (Their only proposed options was surgery and steroids). Idk why this works so effectively for me, but it WORKS and worked immediately! I don't know if I'll have to take this indefinitely to retain these benefits, but I'll be experimenting and will come back with an update if anything changes. Please be advised that the upper limit (in the U.S.) for this supplement is 2000mcg. Some people in these reviews are taking far too much unless advised under a doctor. I personally am opting to take this 500mcg pill every other day for now and it seems to work for me!

I use Seeking Health Molybdenum 500 to support my sulfur detox pathways. It’s been effective and gentle, and I like that it comes in the glycinate chelate form for better absorption. The capsules are easy to take, and I’ve noticed it helps me process sulfur foods more smoothly—reliable quality and a solid addition to my supplement stack.

For me, taking it for histamine issues, pros are lowered or barely any symptoms, cons are extreme left shoulder and upper back pain, a light headache, non returnable, change in breathing that I can breathe but chest feels a little tight, this is day 2

Really great for those who suffer from hangovers!!! I could have one ounce of hard alcohol and the next day I'd feel like I was dying...obviously those feelings were worse if I ingested more alcohol the night before. If I take molybdenum while I start my first drink, it works it's magic and I'm totally fine the next day, no matter how much I had to drink ( within my own body's limits, that is....this won't prevent you from an ER visit to get your stomach pumped because you had too much to drink, just fyi). It has to do with the acetaldehyde in alcohol. Some people can't convert or don't have enough of certain enzymes or proteins to convert acetaldehyde into acetic acid, which is an easier product for the body to clear out of its system. So if you are prone to hangovers after a night of drinking - or for some people like me, after having one tiny drink at night - you are having a build up of acetaldehyde in your system that you can't clear out until it gets converted to acetic acid. Taking the molybdenum -just one pill works for me- with you first drink of the night gives your body the source it needs to keep you hangover free. I swear. It's AMAZING. I also have to take molybdenum if I eat eggs because I react badly to such a high thiol content (Thiol is related to sulfur and causes the same problems as high sulfur foods. Other reviewers have already mentioned molybdenum is great for those who suffer side effects of sulfur rich foods). I can't live without this stuff! Seeking Health is a brand I trust as they have other products that have helped me recover from a bad gene mutation involving b vitamins. They don't put tons of extras in their products and keep the ingredient list as short as possible.
