No idea but I LOVE the weight of this knife! I have had it for YEARS! Still my favorite! :-)

How do you sharpen a bread knife?

It's a Ginsu knife, take care of it properly and you'll never have to sharpen it! I have owned two Ginsu serrated knives for 35 years. I use them regularly and have NEVER, yes NEVER had to sharpen them! Best blade purchase I've ever made!
