I’ve just measured the thread on my partners speakers stands and they’re coming up 6/7 mm. would these be suitable please?

These will fit a 6mm (M6) standard thread. If you are spiking to the floor then they may be suitable. If you are spiking to the speaker itself these may sit too far above the flat part of the speaker stand. You can blu-tack the speakers to the stand in any case.

If my speaker stands have no holes, is it feasible to drill some so I can fit them?

I don't see why not. You will need a nut and (spring) washer for the top side - I threaded mine directly into the threads in my speakers

My Tannoys have flat bottoms with no threads for spikes,how do I get round this? Glue perhaps.

I would try using isolation pads or cones. They should come with sticking pads.
