VW antenna extention
Was able to use this along with an adapter to connect my MK6 head unit I had installed into my MK5. This fit into the XM adapter then I ran this to the green plug on my radio. Connectivity and durability seem to be on par with OEM wiring. For the price it fit, and functioned like I expected. Worth the money.

That one part I needed to finish
My old 02 Focus came with a XM tuner connected to the Pioneer deck. And it was the only thing that worked on the deck ( at that time ). So when I started loosing the signal I had no sounds. I traced it to the antenna, which had the old two wire connection. I did not want to spend a lot of money on the same type. Which was hard to find anyway. After some research and luck I found this adapter which would connect a single wire XM antenna to a splitter ( I found on Ebay ) that would connect to the tuner. It works great. The only reason I went this far was the life time subscription to XM radio.

Perfect adapter to bypass a faulty OEM satellite antenna
Bought a late model used car with bad to nonexistent XM reception. Determined that OEM antenna base on roof was bad. Being winter, I was not in the mood to pull the headliner and replace the antenna base. With an external magnetic XM antenna and this adapter, XM reception returned with a minimal investment of money and time.
