About the item
The ID-Tek machine is an automatic calf feeder . This replaces the need for bottle feeding. The calf wears a RFID ear tag and when the calf enters the stall the Tag reader identifies which calf is in the stall and mixes milk replacement powder with warm water from the water heater in the machine and is dispensed to the calf according to its individual requirements. This machine will hold up to 50 lbs. of milk replacement powder and can accommodate up to 28 calves. The machine runs 24 hours a day allowing the calves to eat the way they would naturally, rather than being bottle fed 2 or 3 times a day. The computer on the machine also records the mixings for each individual calf over a 24 hours period, so that you have the ability to see if a particular calf is not coming to the machine to eat. Calves are not required to be confined to a small pen or hutch, animals can roam freely. The machine can be set up in any building it does not require any special hook ups. The machine requires running water and an electrical outlet within 6 feet. We have been producing calf milk feeding machines since 1986 and have hundreds of very happy customers and calves.
