Exactly what I needed for the modem I have

Within 10 seconds of plugging it in it starting to hiss then there was a popping sound followed by the smell of plastic burning. I'm just glad I didn't walk away for a few minutes after plugging it in. This is a serious fire risk.

This is a small outlet, center pin power supply. An included tip chart only has sizes for center tipped power supplies. The needed replacement is a barrel not a center tip. The company has no weekend support either. Q&A has unanswered questions going back several years. Returned.
