These will not dissolve at all!!! it's leaving sticky residue. what am i going wrong? i have tried various soaking times, but still will not dissolve.

If you bought your product from seller NXK BMBLABCAT, they dont dissolve as advertised. They sell fake copy of the real product. They dont dissolve at all. You need to buy from DirectDeals4U to have the authentic product which dissolve easily within 30 secs.

How big is each sticker?

Relatively small.... approximately 1 by 2 inches. The size would not be a problem if there was not so much printing on it. There is practically no space to write anything. Even worse is that the labels are so dissolvable that they easily fall off the containers. Unusable for me.

What kind of pen works well to mark these?

I use a regular ballpoint pen and it works great. I'm sure a fine-tipped Sharpie would work well, too. These labels are great. :)
