I bought these socks when I was in the hospital for another stay and in a pinch, they are quite wonderful! My nurse even complimented them--he said they were the Cadillac of grippy socks. They're soft, they fit well, they grip the floor, they're warm, and they're very cute. My only complaint is they do often twist and slide (requiring frequent adjustment) but when wearing shoes, using them for support, or laying in a bed... they're great socks. I still wear them at home. Having washed them a few times now, they're still holding up. I'm sure they'll do their job for a few years to come.

I don't know why they call them hospital socks. I call them house socks. Great for just walking around the house.

I do like how thin and fuzzy these socks are, they also don’t shed. I’m currently 34 weeks pregnant and my ankles are starting to swell so it’s nice that these socks aren’t super tight. I was hoping to be able to wear them in the hospital for delivery but because they are so thin you can feel every little grip and it’s quite uncomfortable on my feet. If you have a lot of carpet it won’t be as noticeable but walking on hard floors is a tad rough.
