The Superfun Times Vegan Holiday Cookbook: Entertaining for Absolutely Every Occasion [Moskowitz, Isa Chandra] on desertcart.com. *FREE* shipping on qualifying offers. The Superfun Times Vegan Holiday Cookbook: Entertaining for Absolutely Every Occasion Review: Isa (Really) Does it Again With This Book - To be totally transparent, I have not cooked anything from this cookbook yet but let me tell you....what a fabulous cookbook. I just received it yesterday. it is very sturdy, over an inch thick, beautifully photographed with super doable recipes. There is something about Isa's recipes and style that I love; they are rustic, hearty, easy to make, and deliver on the eye appeal. Her method of using cast iron is key, in my opinion. What I think is outstanding for this book is the way Isa breaks it down by holiday. If you are a new vegan or longtime vegan or just entertaining the idea of going vegan or have friends that are vegan or want to just offer more plant based nutritionally sound dishes-this book will definitely help! I think it is the holidays that are the prime time to shine with omnivores on how good plant-based food tastes and how easy it is to make. This is a great opportunity to keep an extra book or two on hand and give it to your newly won-over omnivores during the holiday time when everyone is working around the kitchen together or after eating a beautiful spread of food. And the next time you visit them they will have a great reference to make you something (or maybe they will become vegan!) amazing to eat! I do wish there were more pictures for some of the recipes but that likely would have made the book unmanageable in the size and weight to work with in the kitchen. But the pictures that are in it...they are great. Review: The Best Vegan Cookbook Writer's Best Cookbook Yet! - I preordered this book, as Isa Chandra Moskowitz has been spicing up my vegan world for years. Her recipes have never disappointed and are loved by not only myself, but by vegetarian and omnivore friends and family as well. I was so excited to see that she was publishing a holiday cookbook. I ordered it so long ago, I had forgotten about it and when the package came, it was so heavy that I didn't think it would be this cookbook. Well! This is the biggest and most beautiful cookbook I have ever seen! It is honestly three times as big as any other cookbook. I have quite a few vegan cookbooks and some of them focus on holiday recipes, but none are as beautiful, thorough, or manageable. These are delicious recipes that you know you could actually pull off. Additionally, she covers every single holiday you could want. None of the other holiday books I own cover so many holidays, and often, I feel some books include throw away recipes for the "lesser" holidays. Not Isa. I cannot wait to sit on my couch this weekend, cuddle up with this book, and plan our holiday menus! And I will definitely be buying several copies for X-Mass presents this year.

Great cookbook for inspiration and tasty food
I'm not fully vegan, just vegetarian, but I love this author's cookbooks because they're inventive, fun, and above all, they are full of tasty food. I haven't met a dud recipe yet. This cookbook in particular is handy with its holidays and themed recipes! I just had inspiration for my vegetarian Easter and made the glazed tofu ham (TASTY) and the blueberry meyer lemon scones (AMAZING). I'm going to have a lot of fun cooking and eating this year, I can tell. My friends and family will be super-happy, too. The photographs are gorgeous and the recipes are frank about cooking times and have simple instructions. Update: I've made vegan holidays several times now - the scones again, because wow (and they brought the house down - good thing I made a double recipe), and the smoky dogs that even my picky, picky, meat-eating brother loved - better than real hot dogs, that's for sure-- and the deviled potatoes (am-A-zing), and the pan bagnat, which was stunningly good, and rhubarb crisp, and, and ... anyway, my review remains Five stars.

So much YUM
This book is GORGEOUS. It's huge, full of recipes and pictures, and literally makes my mouth water. I got it 24 hours ago, and have already made the pork fried rice, creamy carrot soup, baked cabbage and carrots, and Creole Lentil loaf in my food-prep for the week extravaganza. They're all yum (what can I say, I did a lot of sampling) but the carrot soup especially....it was so easy, and is possibly the most delivious thing I've ever eaten. I was running my finger along the inside of the soup pot trying to lick up every last drop. I was also super excited to see my favorite all time recipe from Isa's blog in here...the runzas. Make them!!! Isa's done it again...a true bible of beautiful, yummy, easy to make, vegan food.

Delicious recipes to make you happy
I had to write a review, because I love love this cookbook! I received it a few weeks ago and have already tried several recipes. The Tomatillo Posole was the first one tried. My husband and I travel to New Mexico every summer and we loved posole in our carnivore years, but cannot eat it now because we can no longer bear to eat animals. This posole was MUCH better than any meaty version. It has a wonderful layer of flavors that often does not exist in many meat-based foods. My next venture was thr Mushroom-Spinach Quesadillas, again superb flavor! My latest try is the Chipotle Mac and Cheese - scrumptious too! You may guess that we love Mexican food and we are huge fans. Living in south Texas, it is our mainstay. I have been vegetarian for some time and decided to go vegan after much thought about the suffering caused by animal based foods. This cookbook has made that transition a wonderful experience. I would be vegan regardless of any cookbook, but I do love to cook and look forward to making the rest of the recipes in this book. Give it a try, your conscience and tastebuds will both be happy!

Libro ok ma troppo American style in tutto. Usa sempre e solo farina raffinata e zucchero.
