USB to Ethernet Adapter, CableCreation USB 3.0 to Wired LAN Network Adapter

Bought this for my Nintendo Switch so that I could play on a wired connection in Super Smash Bros Ultimate. It's a very small adapter that takes no space up on the desk and works as soon as you plug in an ethernet cable. The speed of the connection it produces is sufficient for online play in SSBU. Very good value product that is simple and easy to use.

I work as a photographer and videographer and time is money, so when I need to upload assets the quicker the better. Even when your wifi is pretty fast, a hard connection will always get the job done faster. I bought this gadget to use with my mid-2015 MacbookPro. You may need to do some setting up in system preferences depending on your internet setup; I literally just had to plug it in and I had a connection reaching 1000mbs download and Upload just below 1000mbs. -Build Quality: Plastic, but solid. -Ease of use: Plug and Play for most. -Look: I bought the black one, its like the picture. Lights up when being used. Nice! -Value: Honestly, it was more expensive then I was hoping, but cheaper than others and makes my job easier at the end of the day. If your wifi isn't great for streaming or if you need to upload/download assets fast. Buy one of these.

I use this to connect my LAN cable to my cheap HP laptop. Works just fine.

I purchased this item because my new Windows 11 laptop and my old Chromebook both lack rj45 ports. I needed to check both my cable modem and my router to isolate an issue that was causing my GIG internet connection to run at 50 Mbps both up and downstream. When it arrived I plugged it into my Chromebook and attempted to connect via ethernet, but no joy. SO I tried it with the Chromebook and same result. I went to cable creation and downloaded the drivers then installed them with Windows Update. After the drivers were added the adapter worked on both my Windows computer and the Chromebook. I was able to diagnose the cable modem as defective and after replacing it I get 850 Mbps down and 60 Mbps up on the ethernet connected to the router. So this device works well, but you will have to have a means to update it out of the box.

I have a Samsung 2 360 Chromebook and my home wifi was AOK but ... I finally realized I needed to get an ethernet dongle and I had an unused USB-A 3.0 port and wala this item, USB to Ethernet Adapter, CableCreation USB 3.0 to 10/100/1000 Gigabit Wired LAN Network was ordered and now I have the speed I was paying for. My wifi is still AOK for my phone & tablet but my chromebook stays put and why not get the faster speed. I recommend this speed increase device to anyone that wants the faster speeds for a stationary device. I recommend this Cable Creation company and my past Cable Creation purchases proves they are top shelf.

I have spotty wireless internet at my house and prefer wired internet were possible. This was not a problem for most of my devices that have a Ethernet port built in, but in the case of the iPad, that becomes a problem. After doing many hours of research trying to figure out what I was going to need in order to get wired internet on my iPad I discovered it really was not as complicated as I made it out to be. All you need are three things, this adapter, the iPad adapter with lighting connector in and USB in, and a power brick with lightning cable to connect into the Apple adapter. I used both a 10w and 12w Apple power brick and both work fine. A 5w adapter most likely will not provide enough power to charge the iPad and use the adapter at the same time but was untested by myself. Once all of this is connected, there might be a window that appears in the middle of the screen that tells you that the Apple adapter is updating. After that is done, go to settings on the iPad and a brand new setting will appear where you can adjust the wired networking settings for the iPad just like you would for the wireless networking. Great device no issues so far and recommend for people with a problem similar to mine.

Adapter has an ASIX chip which the 2012 Mac Mini running Ventura does not have drivers for. It is possible that drivers could be manually loaded and be made to work. I returned this and got an adapter with a RealTek chip which the Mini supports. Just pluged it in and it worked.

Comme ma Box-TV ne possède pas de prise RJ45 pour me connecter au réseau, c'est le seul moyen que j'ai trouvé et cela fonctionne parfaitement . La dépense est minime et l'encombrement dérisoire.
