It’s easy to set up, update and reset. It’s easy to read, it had a semi loud beep & good quality magnet. The timer stays on track and the image around the countdown is very good quality. I will admit you have to figure out how many days / hours from today to the date of your event to program. Best would have been enter today's date and time and the enter date time of your event, then presto automatically calculated and displayed. I had to use a simple excel formula to get it right. Once set up is does what is does. To note has magnets for attaching to a metal surface and a small stand for your desk, it does not have a hook for hanging on the wall, I had to superglue a wall hook. I will admit the term BIG is a stretch, as clock is only 6" wide x 2 1/4 tall, however the LCD number are large. So the countdown works for me after some simple math.
