Works Great for hold up the storage doors in the camper. Suggested to others. Problem solved. Now when I lift up the door to get something out, it stays open until I close it. Easy installation.

Will NOT keep doors in OPEN position ...
Using a pair of these 8" - 30N struts will NOT keep the 24" W x 19" H RV overhead cabinet doors open, not even close. The doors are a laminated composite material and seem a bit heavier than MDF/wood. I'll try the same length in 100N. Hopefully they will work & not too strong. As for the units themselves ... they seem fine but I can't imagine what they would support.

Don't work!
We purchased these a couple of weeks ago, installed them, and they are defective. There's no hydraulic to these at all. Do not buy unless you want to go through the install to see if they work. Very disappointed.

NO instructions! Or I should say minimal.
I'm sure they would work well if a better description of how they are installed was provided. The buyer is left guessing which size to buy. This is my third time trying to install these. First ones too long , second too short. They're made well enough for the application.

INSTALLATION IS AWFUL!!!
I am a follower of instructions, especially if the product is new to me. The instructions that come with this item are TERRIBLE! Follow them to your peril!! The instruction diagram suggests an installation of 70mm from the center of the cabinet hinge on the door for the upper strut socket, and 240mm vertically on the cupboard for the lower strut socket. NOT TRUE!!!!!! The Gas Strut CANNOT BE EXPANDED TO FIT THOSE DIMENSIONS!!! It is IMPOSSIBLE to install the struts with those dimensions!!! The diagram implies that the cabinet door will be at 90 degrees when the strut is installed. NOT TRUE!!! I could not figure any way to accomplish what the diagram suggests. Trial and error finally accomplished installation!
