We thought we’d tried everything to help our Carolina Dog (American dingo) with her dry itchy skin…. But we hadn’t… yet! Our poor girl was so itchy that if we gave her a pat on her back or gave her a little “belly rub” or “butt rub”…. ABOVE her tail! ;). (Just don’t know what to call that spot) Well, no matter where we’d touch her, her skin would twitch and she’d pick up one of her back legs to itch and scratch at the spot. Her whole back was itchy like this. Sometimes her skin would get so “hot” that she’d literally just sit and pant and stare at us beggin for help! We tried all sorts of vet recommended products and everything I found here on Amazon that promised to help with itching or dry skin…. Poor baby. Nothing worked. We tried supplements, changing food, adding omega oils, fish oils, dinovite, we tried it all. The only thing that brought relief was drugging her with Benedryl! At my last vet visit, my dog had noticeable dandruff which I hadn’t noticed before. This sparked the vet to suggest this product. Of course I was skeptical and after looking at the list on ingredients and my own apothecary of essential oils and carrier oils, and nothing that some were the same, I wondered how this could possibly work. The answer is simple: MAGIC!!! It’s so easy to apply and seemed to just kind of sit there on her neck/back. As indicated I brushed her a few days later and already noticed there was less twitching when I brushed her. We applied it religiously once a week for the first month, and when we were deciding if we should buy it again or not we just looked at her sitting there peacefully smiling and not panting or itching or looking miserable and quickly placed another order. The next box we used it every other week and now I am about to buy then third box. It’s night and day for our pup! Her fur is amazingly soft. She smells great (never was a stinky dog, but it’s a bonus!) and the itching has completely stopped. I was prompted to write this review when she just came over to me and I gave her a nice butt rub (above her tail, people! Don’t be gross!) ;) and she just looked back and smiled and enjoyed it. I am so happy she has found relief. How does it work? I have no idea…. That’s why it must be magic!

I have a senior dog with horrible allergies. My vet told me to get this and she said that even she was skeptical about it but had another patient give it a try on her golden retriever who had previously unresolved horribly flaky skin and experienced almost instantaneous results with this. So she became a believer and suggest I give it a try for my pit bull mix who has flaky itchy skin that she has scratched to the point of having infected sores. We have tried everything! Poor girl has had a series of shots and medicated shampoos and supplements and steroids. And gosh dang it - 2 days after treating her with this stuff her skin and coat are AMAZING! I haven't seen her scratch once. Her coat is shiny. There aren't flakes flying everywhere when I give her loving scratches. Her sores are healing. Just that one squirt that was easily applied between her shoulder blades - which smells beautiful and wow. Whole new dog! This was easy to use and just insanely effective! I am so relieved that we finally found something to give our itchy girl some relief!

I have a 3-year old Silver Lab who has had skin/fur issues on and off for the past few years. I purchased this product after reading a previous review (a few reviews down) of another silver lab that this product worked for. Silver labs are a diluted color breed that are notorious for skin/coat issues. Oliver has had issues with thinning coat, itchiness, and patchiness that come in waves as the seasons change - nothing that has affected his health, but annoyances that both he and I (and other people) notice. He was tested for a thyroid issue and those tests came back normal. I've tried everything the vet has recommended - switching to a salmon-based food, allergy shots, allergy tablets, fish oil pills, medicated shampoo, conditioner, etc and nothing has really treated the problem completely. The veterinarian finally said that it was just how he is and something I'd have to live with. I finally decided to try this when he lost an old-man style patch on the top of his head. I did the 8 week recommended program with Dermoscent and it really is a miracle. I don't usually write reviews online but if your dog is struggling with any skin/coat issues, you need to give this a try. All of the problems you see in the pictures are gone. No more spotting, no more hair loss, no more itching, and on top of that, his coat has thickened significantly and is very shiny. It looks HEALTHY. The hair on the top of his head filled in as well, which is something I was worried would never come back. This product also has a pleasing scent and is easy to apply (just once a week for 8 weeks). Now that the 8 weeks is over I'll be watching for any issues and if they do happen I will be sure to buy it again. Had this recommended to me by my vet for my 2 year old German shepherd who suffers from skin allergies. I've tried alot of different products and this one worked well. Within the first two weeks of me using it on him his skin started to clear up and his fur started to thickin in places it had thin due to his allergies. After the final dose you couldn't tell he had any issues at all! This allowed us time to figure out what he was allegic to without him have to suffer with the dry skin. This product was easy to use. I will say it does have a strong smell to it. Not a bad smell just strong. As far as longevity of this product. I'd say my dogs skin was good for at least 3 months before we had to buy the product again. Otherwise I think it's a product that has work well for us and we will continue to use until we hopefully can get a handle on our German shepherds allergies!

This stuff is magic! When I started it my dog had bald patches all over his skin. I will attach a photo where you can see only one spot. I used one every 2 weeks for 6 weeks and his fur cleared up now I am on the maintenance where I use one monthly or bimonthly. I will never not have this product in my house.

Scent is light and pleasant, nothing iver powerful, and tho i dud not notice a difference the first few days. ,, i have noticed my little dig scratching less. Her skin is dry and fragile and i barely can use shampoo in her, it’s all is to drying. I use warm damp wash rags and sometimes coconut oil. Still. She was itchy. I have 3 pipettes left and im hopeful this will help. Shes in a very good diet ,, no junk. But born with comprimised immunity.

Wow! We have been looking for something to take care of our dog's dry skin. He is a hound, and he can also tend to get a little smelly. So we bathe him more often than we really should. Hence the dryness! We gave him a bath and used about half of the vial on him. When he was almost dry, my husband rubbed it into his skin and fur. Almost a week later, he smells absolutely fantastic! Not a strong scent. Not a perfume he sent at all. But you can definitely tell that the essential oils are working. His fur feels soft. And almost immediately, we saw his dandruff relieved. We will continue to apply half a vial every week whether he gets a bath or not.
