Just what the General (should have) ordered! This front power retractable plate is the answer to every C7 Corvette Stingray owner's prayers (will not fit the C7 ZO6, GS or ZR1). Keeps local authorities and you happy and your Corvette looking clean and uncluttered. Well-engineered bracket s under the front bumper in the center. Designed just for your C7 2014 through 2019 (NON ZO6, GS or ZR1) Corvette Stingray the kit will only require one small hole to be drilled about 10" back from the front of the bumper out of . The remaining points will use the GM factory bolt locations already on your Corvette. Your license plate can be remotely retracted and then with just hitting the button on your wireless remote can be viewed again. A quality part that solves the front plate driving dilemma. This unit is made by Altec and offers the smallest low profile foot print under the bumper that can be found at just 1.3" thick by 10" long. This kit should not be operated when the car is motion above 5 MPH and is designed to permanently fail in the plate up position (plate showing) to prevent it's use to illegally bypass traffic equipment or hide your plate from other drivers or law . PLEASE NOTE: We will not accept this kit back for replacement under the 30 day warranty if the unit shows that it was attempted to be used while the car was in motion or any signs of road . We bench test each unit before it ships and if any issues arises during the first 30 days from purchase date please let us know. Beyond 30 days you will have to contact Altec directly for service and replacement parts.
