This is some heavy duty velcro with good adhesive. I used it to mount an external Blu-ray drive under my laptop stand. It drove me crazy not having a DVD player connected to my laptop. My laptop stand isn't big enough to hold an external Blu-ray player. It turns out that I could mount it underneath the stand, aligned with the stand edges. The Velcro tape is holding everything in place and is solid and not moving. I'm happy to have my Blu-ray player back

Do not think this wouldn’t work on fabric; As I know there is another buyer on here that had a comment about this not sticking to fabric cause they are definitely don’t know how to apply this onto any kinda surfaces. 1- You’ll need to apply 99% alcohol to any surfaces that your planning on sticking this onto, 2- stick it to any surfaces & place something with weight on top of it & allow 24/hours to pass by. 3- apply it to any surfaces & see how good it will stick. necesitaba un velcro heavy duty y este no lo es tanto, no me sirvió para mi propósito. la cinta adesiva pega bien en las paredes y plásticos metal pero no en telas . el velcro agarra bien pero normal nada de especial ...como otros velcros , no vi mucha diferencia con los velcxro que había comprado en la mercería del pueblo.
