No more tossing out finishes
As a woodworker, I mix numerous concoctions for staining and finishing. Even though I store these in mason jars, they would either skim over or congeal completely. Thanks to Bloxygen, this never happens any more. I use it on both products purchased after opening them for the first time and all my blends stored in jars. Best thing since sliced bread.

Best argon gas preserver on the market
I use this to preserve wine for 4-6 days. I got 55 x 2 x 1 sec blasts from my first can. This compares with 10 or less 2 x 1 sec squirts from Vineyard Fresh and Salvador. Not even in the same league. Claims to be food grade. Haven't tried it to preserve paint etc. yet.

If you use oil-based polyurethane, you need this.
This is bottled, pressurized argon gas, which is inert. When sprayed into a paint can (usually oil-based enamel or real polyurethane), it forms a gas layer on top of the liquid that displaces the oxygen because the argon heavier than the oxygen. This should prevent the liquids from gelling and it mostly works but you need to use enough. This is not without any issues. The recommendation is to place the lid on the liquid can and open one edge slightly, then spray the gas in for 2 seconds for a quart and 5 for a gallon and hammer it shut. The gas comes out of a very thin tube. How do you know anything came out if you can't hear it? With my present Bloxygen can, I really have to press the spray button pretty hard before anything comes out. You need to make sure that the tip of the dispensing tube isn't plugged up. As the argon canister empties, the flow rate through the dispensing tube decreases until not much comes out. When is that not enough? There's no pressure gauge like what's on a fire extinguisher. They say that when you can squeeze the can, it's time for a new can. Okay, but what about before that? So, as the Bloxygen empties or as my liquid can has less liquid in it, I'm spraying longer at 3 seconds and 7 seconds. I used to have gelling problems with polyurethane all of the time. Since using the Bloxygen, that happens much less frequently. I highly recommend this product in spite of the above.

Expensive but worth it to save expensive chemicals
I use many thousands of dollars in chemicals through the year so it's worth it for the convenience but even a small Argon welding bottle would give a lifetime supply compared with these tiny bottles. Still, I bought a case of these after trying a smaller order and I'll keep buying them for their convenience. The Iso side of 2-part epoxies and joint filler material oxidizes so fast that I won't be without it.

Excellent product
I use Bloxygen both for maintaining wood finishing products once their containers are opened and also for minimizing oxidation of foods, especially fresh fruits and vegetables. I am extremely pleased with both applications.

Works well
I've been using this product for several years now and it preserves everything from paint and varnish to joint compound very well. No more waste! Highly recommend.

Can feels empty!
The best thing when you are using Waterlox, otherwise it dries up.

Great for a few cans at home. Not for high volume use
Bought a case to help preserve material used in our conformal coating process at work. We went through it in a week because we have 40lb pails. It works well enough and I would recommend for any home user or hobbyist but If you are going to use more volume on a regular basis I learned it’s way cheaper at a welding supply store. You’re getting 12g of Argon per can. Good enough for a few laquer and paint cans. Not for high volume use else its an expensive way to get Argon. These are $0.83 /g vs Gas at the welding supply store $0.01/g.
