I love this brand. This candle started smelling the entire house in 30 minutes. My house is pretty big too. This brand burns clean, evenly and burns all of the wax. This particular scent smells like fall! Caramel, candy corn and like I’m at the fair. I love it and so will you.

It has a strong scent. Have had it more than 2 weeks and haven't lit it yet, but you can smell it even when the lid is on. To me, it smells like caramel and vanilla. I was hoping for a more earthy smell but maybe when I light it. Love the graphics and the large size. Good buy for the $.

One of my favorite candle scents. It’s a strong enough smell without being harsh. It’s hard to describe. It’s neither yummy nor too perfume-y….but it’s somehow so good. It’s not a strongly masculine scent or an overpowering feminine perfume, but it is kind of a light mixture of feminine and masculine spice that’s very smooth. I get headaches from very strong perfumes and this kind of envelopes the room while remaining light and easy on the sinuses.. I do associate it with Halloween every time I light it and it has a very unique scent. Unfortunately, it’s not being sold at the moment and I’m running low. Here’s hoping that’s due to being a seasonal scent…

Village Candles burn excellently and evenly, and have a great scent throw. That said, this candle doesn’t really smell as described. Profile is: Top: Incense, Cinnamon, Fir, Needles, Elemi, Black Pepper Mid: Coconut, Clove, Coffee Base: Tonka, Vanilla, White Musk, Sandalwood, Cedarwood, Patchouli Really, though, what it smells like is a vanilla-flavored latte. I don’t get any clove or sandalwood or incense. It’s not (un)earthy-smelling—it’s gourmand. I don’t mind it, but anyone looking for something spooky-smelling might be disappointed.

Being someone that wishes Halloween was everyday, I was in the mood for a GOOD, STRONG spooky candle and that's what I got. Will definitely be purchasing again🎃🎃

This candle has a strong scent of vanilla that will fill a room before you even light it. After a few lights the scent has diminshed but still keeps a good smell around the room just not as overpowering as the start. It's a lost bigger than I thought it would be so it's lasted a long time even though I keep lighting it for hours every day. Maybe one day it'll finally run out haha but still then i'm enjoying the yummy smell.

So this candle arrived today, melted into a blob like some other reviewers mentioned. I was super bummed but amazon refunded me and told me to keep it. I loved it so much i decided to re-melt it in a pan of water and see if i could salvage it. Took about 30 minutes but with a little patience it filled back in & looked great. It did appear the wicks were too short for the jar after I fished them out. I make candles as a hobby and I just happened to be making some when this one arrived. So I grabbed one of my extra wicks and just centered it in the freshly melted wax with a wick clip. I was obviously unable to glue it down without emptying the wax to do so first then pouring it back in after. I am currently letting the wax reform and harden around the wick so I can at least use it for a bit. Ill see how long that holds up, then will probably just put it on a candle warmer after that. Came out looking like new again though. Which is great because I bought it to go with my "Haunted guest-bathroom" theme this year. Smells great and is a spooky black color with an awesome lable that has a haunted house on it. If the candle would not have shown up melted, I honestly would have given 5 stars.

So far I've purchased VC's Haunted Mansion six times, and I absolutely LOVE the scent. Each candle has been incredibly long lasting, burns evenly and super clean (unlike the last few Yankee Candles I've purchased that produced little more than unbelievable amounts of soot.) Haunted Mansion is not an overly strong, headache-inducing scent, but it's certainly not weak, either. It's just the perfect scent/throw to use in my bedroom. I keep trying other candles, but I always find myself coming back to repurchase this one. I've purchased Ghost Cemetery a couple of times, and while I do like it, it can't compete with Haunted Mansion. To me, Ghost Cemetery has a much stronger, sweeter scent/throw. If you're wanting a candle to put in the living room to fill the whole house, Ghost Cemetery would definitely accomplish that.

A pesar de las reseñas que indicaban que la vela llegaba rota o derretida, llegó en buenas condiciones. Venía muy bien empaquetada y llegó muy rápido. Lo único es que la parafina no se ve tan "sólida" como las velas de otras marcas. El olor es spooky. Me gustó mucho el envase y presentación.
